Incorporate the specialization system?
CCA Training Specializations (Poll)
Giving this idea it's own topic. It seems to have gotten a lot of support on the one-up topic, so lets see how it does here.
Basic overlay:
Instead of trying to create huge divisons to perform one small task, give training sessions to let spread out skills among units. We modify a small bit of their name, adding "S" for specialty and the number of their skill. The DvL's and high command take charge in training their units in these skills. Heres a name change example, and the whole list of specialities I could think of so far.
Please feel free to add any more training ideas if you support this idea.
CCA-CORE.03.S1-XXXXX
S1= S standing for speciality, the number specifying which one
examPles:
CORE
S1= Weapon Matenence (Repair of weapons- service to other units.)
S2= Citizen Interaction Specialist. (For those weird cases of crime. or be a propaganda advertiser. Be the guy erryone likes, and make the CCA seem cool. Be DR.phil. Guard shops. W/e.)
S3= Riot Training (Non-lethal tactics, CQB combat, tear gas, etc.)
S4= Crime Judgement (Become a lawyer dawg.)
S5= Interrogation (Learn the two ways of interrogation.)
S6= Leadership training. (Open to units at rank 01 who are aspiring to become OfC's. Learn tactics, squad management, how to run a team, and how to report to high command.)
HELIX
S1= Quick Field Treatment (Be the fastest pro at simple field stuff.)
S2= Augments (Augment with little chance of phaleing.)
S3= Chemical Invention/Management (Bio-Weapons and Medicine Study)
S4= Creature Study. (Exogen/Necrotics/Type B)
NOVA
S1= Turret Matenence (Repair/Place turrets.)
S2= Explosive Defusal/Trap setting. (GTFO SLAMS and bombs. Set traps.)
S3= Overwatch Management (Learn to augment and repair overwatch. Still unsure how this one would work. Assign a nova to his own personal overwatch buddy and have him take care of it?)
S4= Scanner Matenence (Repair/Build scanners.)
S5= Robotic/Prosthetic Work (Robotic limbs- augmented and unaugmented)
S6= NEXUS Matenence/Dark Energy Study. (Study of nexus generators, pulse orbs, new forms of energy, etc.)
GHOST
S1= Marksmanship. (Lurn2snipe. Less s2m for all weapons.)
S2= Recon. (007 stuff. Using screenshots as pictures, stealth, rooftops)
S3= Explosives use. (General knowledge of defusing/arming light explosives for GHOST missions. DEMO MAN!)
S4= Infiltration. (Offered at rank 01, learning to leave the safety of your uniform to go entirely undercover as a citizen into suspicious area/places of question. Blend like a taliban!)
BENEFITS OF THIS ALL:
>Diversity. A feel of importance as a unit, and a bit of customization. Maybe make multiple chars to stick your finger in every pie/cake/butthole.
>More training. DvL's can see more of their units and work with them.
>General advantage for CCA. Units will be better at certain things, given them the upper hand on the frontlines, or at home in the city.
>Inventions. Specializations in NOVA and HELIX let people be creative. Experiment, invent medicine, machenes, w/e
>More passive as a whole.
>Most likely more fun to play as CCA.
>No change to quota, you are expected nothing extra for your specialization unless a high command asks you personally.
>Other stuff Im forgetting.
Please leave any improvement ideas, and be sure to vote!

Re: CCA Training Specializations (Poll)
The reason why I shied away from this before when you recommended it was because I thought that only someone with Augment training would be able to do augments. Now that I found out that you can still do it just that someone with Augment training would be more recommended changes everything. +support

This is a good idea overall since there really can't be divisions for those things, and one HELIX isn't going to know how to do everything the HELIX division all of that. Did gud.

Re: CCA Training Specializations (Poll)
This is an amazing idea, because it would make divisions a lot more fun when you get to chose more options to make your CCA char YOUR CCA char.

Re: CCA Training Specializations (Poll)
I am just confirming that I did greenlight this.
And if you need help with these types of things, go to Noobstrike first. It will take me some time before I can master all of its quirks.
