Rules room

Could we maybe add a OOC rules room at the spawn? Many people join the server not knowing the rules and break them. They get banned they don't exactly know why they are banned or don't know what "lolrunning" or "lolwebul" is so they tell their friends that "This server bans for no reason" telling the rules in a OOC room will have people know the rules and hopefully make them regulars.

I think we already have RP school for that. The issue is that we usually don't give people a chance for RP school, they just get kicked for minging. Which is fine, for repeat offenders. What we'd need to do is make a list of who's done RP school and who hasn't. Anyone who has and still minges gets reminded, then kicked, then banned on repeated offense.

The thing is that people don't ask for help on this server even if they don't know how to RP. Plus Admins have to RP too they cant spend all day schooling people

Thats odd... Usualy when someone breaks the rules they are sent to RP school.

Who isnt sending people to RP school around here? When did that place become baron?

I won't name an admin..... but we need to start doing Rp school more often. I didn't know we had a RP school it wasn't used for so long.

It's been there. We don't use it much probably because people don't wanna take the time out of their RP to participate in schooling newbies.

Well thats the cost of being an Admin. You are here to serve and protect the server from minges, and help users role play to their maximum potential.

If you dont want to take time out of your RP to follow rules and be the admin you are ment to be, then I suppose your admin powers and status will be revoked.

This is a wanring to Admins who arnt doing their jobs.

Well, I'll definitely help RP school if needed. I've done it once before and I can explain the ins and outs of our RP well enough to get someone started. I think it's just a question of picking out who's actually new and who's just a mingebag.

Only Op's+ can RP school. Giving out Physguns and Observer to users is not a good idea.

Yeah. That's how it went when I did it.
And I had thought it was a given that if we don't want minging, we certainly don't want people messing around with physguns and such.

Maybe we block off spawn, and force all new peepul to read da rools. then we no collide gate and let dem pass, and just leave it no collided when all de admuns leave anyway.

simple, make them spawn at the bottom of the subway hallway, have rules being listed all the way up to the surface, maybe somehow disable running in the area, idk, but so they pass by them and can't claim ignorance. The first rule would of course be, "you must read all of these rules before entering rp" etc.

Or we could just start using RP school more. I know tend to get bored as citizen when nothing is really going on, so I'll probably do a lot of RP schooling.

Yeah. I agree. I say we should expand our staff. Such as Respected and OPs and stuff. Because lets face it....
