Realism VS Unknown characters

Okay. So what if someone has IC teleporter machine in a base that is basically taller than them, thus a structure, or a cloaking device that is very flawed?

I liked the idea of someone like Mantis, but it can make for some frustrating times because whenever he appears, there isnt really anything you can do about it unless you get extremely lucky.

To have a machine like that you would need a smart ass motha fucka like Eli or Kliener. But they are in City 17.
Plus their focus was short distence teleportation to only 2 specific areas.
Hell, the combine are looking for Eli because they cant manage to build a short distence teleporter.

So to say that a rebel that isnt in City 17 has a machine that can make them Cloak and teleport, is fubar.

1 man has created a cloaking device. Flawed that it is, it is still a cloaking device! Danokente Sithi! But yeah, thing is flawed as fuck.

"Unknown" dosnt mean there special in any way shape or form. it means the cca has failed to identify them and are unsure of they are hostile, freindly, living, dead, etc.

And yeah I agree about what jman said. This server should revolve around players, and make it all about choice. Make the oppurtinitys always there, but the player just has to get up and work for them. Hell, mabye we could even scatter stuff around like pre-ware items. A civie may find a crowbar lodged in the tire of an old car, mabye some old guy finds a wawa shopping bag in an abandoned store, 'oo knows.

CCA didnt do a good weapon sweep in D6. So items can be found RARELY.

Oh yeah. ALTHOUGH players should have equal chances, I beleive all SA's and mabye even admins should have a Gman character. Gman is a character that can be very fun, and adds ALOT to the story. It scares the FUCK out of people, and pits them against each other, which they then have to solve, or do as he says. As many people play him, there is only one gman. my gman was called "The employer" cuz....gordan dosnt know his name is gman.
