Realism VS Unknown characters

Now, TC is gonna be all about realism and seriousness. But, im all for community suggestions. So, my question to you guys is: Do you want to keep those "Unknown" characters like Mantis and The Employer? They dont make it real, but they can add fun. SOMETIMES.

So, my question stands. Do you want to keep these "Special" characters? Or remove them, to make things more real and fair.

EDIT: Its settled. Unkown chars, or even characters with strange traits can stay. But any power that they have been givin (IE: Cloak, teleportation... ect) shall be removed. Exept for Augs. If your character has strength augmentations, that is ok.

I agree with you their Diablo, I think we should all have real and fair characters that we can work to develope,etc...

Since I'm a greedy bastard who brings poison to anywhere he goes, I demand to keep Death Incarnate. His humanity is showing finally, and he has sided with the rebels.

Also: I think there should be unknown characters, but only if a CCA or Anti-Citizen fakes their own death.
Like, Sterling 'Death Incarnate' Dein would be classified as unknown, but once he carries out some plans he'll be an Anti-Citizen.
For example:
03 is tired of bullshit, thinks the Combine are bad, but a legitimate reason.
03 rogues.
03 kills a guy
03 puts suit ON guy
03 sets body on fire, blows up, etc. etc. etc.
Everyone thinks 03 is dead.
03 is unknown, with a new name.

None of this edgy invisible conduit of the gods stuff. (Not gonna name anyone, but you know who you are.)

I will be willing to change the unknown but i worked hard on Razor She was my first rogue and she took me the whole time in C8 and some time in C18 to get a rogue so i really dont want to lose her.

Things like this urk me, they show to the players that SAs and admins are more deserving of interesting or special characters. You wouldn't say that if you weren't a member of staff.

Or, no special characters at all. I mean, we wouldnt have dudes running around cloaked. (You know who you are)
I didnt see one person in Half life 2 go into cloak mode. Thats Crysis, man.

Yeah, It aint natural to somebody being teleported and being cloaked, I vote no Rogues or misterious ghosts

GUYS! GUYS! We need thes special characters! Without them, we are another generic cookie-cutter server!

Think guys. Sure, some ideas such as Koro the Firebringer was bullshit and shouldn't have existed. BUT... People like X-Ray, Death, Razor.... And even Sima Yi have things that are special and makes the HL2RP AMAZINGLY fun. Working out on a generic, boring, everyone being the same server.... It just leads to restraints and everything. Characters are special because they are unique and have amazing backstories to back-up their abilities. Such as Danokente Sithi... He has a giant claw arm that tears through shit because he invented it IC and in his backstory. Sima Yi, he was genetically altered within a facility, thus giving him a stronger build than others. Phantom, somehow turned into a rouge then starts murdering CCA and OTA consistently and effectivley. Razor.... Well, Razor I have yet to see any special qualities besides the fact that she is a rouge. But still! I vote that the special characters stay. For the good of everyone. Sure, things can get out of hand and over the limit. And it will be up to us to stop that. And if they are not great RPers, then they have their powers taken away.

What do you mean? So you are saying you just mean people turning invisible for no reason, teleporting for no reason, and things like that?

Yes. Razor had the ability to go cloak. Koro could shoot fire, that never happens in HL2.

Now, special augmentations I can understand.
