SO We want planetside 2, so lets choose our outfit for this thang.
Btw only reason I'm making this is because i feel that the other one wasn't really "payed" attention too.

If I can get Planetside on my laptop without raping my hardware, I'll join up and rally a force that even the Angry Joe Army will worry about. Unless they're the pay to win types. Then it might not be that simple.

LOL, The game is purely skill, although cash will get you shit faster, the game is actually Pay 2 look pretty.
As for the running on your laptop? Dude, if you get anything less than a desktop [or a beefed up laptop], the second your in a big battle, prepare for 10 fps or possibly less.

I mean, push comes to shove i can just turn down the graphics to where it looks like HL2 so I get a better framerate.
And I thought it was fairly obvious I was gonna be the tactician. I just need map layouts and typical enemy strategies.

Enemy strategies consist of massive zergs, or galaxy drops, or a combination of both, very rarely is there any actual tactics in the game. But thats only for the massive amounts of pubbies. The best tactic that i've seen involves dropping an entire platoon on a single tower and taking it in 30 seconds. 48 in a platoon = 4 gals [galaxies AKA:Flying dropship]
You can use the planetside 2 wiki for the maps, maybe SOME outfits may use actual tactics, like the NC's 666 devil dogs, [sadly on a diffrent server than the angry army]
