Custom Events

Have an idea for a serverwide event? Mabye a small one centered towards the cp? Or just something fun for the citizens? Post here. Make it realistic, descriptive, and everyone reading it, feel free to put negative- or positive+ on what you think of their event, we may just do it!

Maybe have a event were the CCA have to work with the Resistance to fight a ever so common enemy like the Necrotics or the Antlions?

How about one where a bad storm comes in and short circuts the power, so radios dont work, biosignals dont work, lights dont work, and the combine consoles and data pads dont work. So the combine have basicly as much control as the restance do

That seems like what might happen if a solar flare hit and somehow the Combine hadn't prepared for it. It's possible, I guess. It would definitely make for some chaotic RP.

How about someone in CAH is heard to have a weapon. So the entire plaza goes on lockdown and they line all citizens up. Then who is found with contraband is detained/amputated

Well...I've had an idea in my head ever since dead anarchy severance...
Remember the runners? The left for dead ones. If we get those back in TC hl2, I have a epic idea. A week long, server wide event. Through an old trainstation, the new breed of headcrab-less zombie has slowly appeard in city 17. An elite overwatch group was dispatched into the c17 subways, lead by a CORE DvL who was rather liked by breen. The four KING's and the divisional never returned, and breen was outraged. He orderd his best units, overwatch, and machenes to sweep the subway in search of them, and the group was attacked by the new zombies. They incapacitated one, and brought it back to the citadel labs for studying. After scanning, prodding, and tearing away at every inch of it's body, they found none other than the DNA of an overwatch unit. Since all DNA is saved into the UU database, it was scanned, the C17 labs curious when something strange happend. The DNA was registered to an ECHO unit. Not just any echo unit. A city 18...echo unit. The ID remained unknown, but this was surprising to the group, and they reported it to Dr.Breen immdietly. Angered by the loss of his CORE Divisonal, he orderd all the citizens of c18 be exterimated, and the city shut down to prevent further infection and murders. So, his overwatch units flew in by gunship by the hundreds...than the thousands...and kept coming. Without warning, the ships touch downed and opend fire on all citizens, the confused city 18 cca sped towards them, The overwatch refused to speak, their AI would not let them. The CCA and the OTA crowded each other, random shouts and questions muffled the constant sound of ar2 fire, when all at one moment, the sound of a lost biosignal was heard. A c18 unit lay dead, an accident, or a feared response from an overwatch. That one death changed everything. The scared and already confused units opend fire on the OTA, and OTA returned it, what was left of the citizens run away. After a long and heated fight that leaves the city in rubbel, the overwatch has been killed, but brought with them the only thing that could stop what would happen next. Most of the c18 units, had been lost. The smell of thousands of dead and constant gunfire had caused the strange zombies to arise from the slums, they attacked the citizens running away, and more and more of them, old infected, or new, charged the city in a chance for food they would never get again. The c18 units are so in shock they barley put up much of a fight, and retreat. The zombies overrun the city, very few units lay in the nexus, and there isnt a chance to call for outside help, because breen thinks his OTA were violently murderd.

So basically, for a week, there is rubble everywhere. Zombies are constantly parading the streets, attacking the dead till people don't even want to loot the bodies. All people are hungry. The resistance and CCA forget who they are, they set up camps, share what they can, and hope for the best. If they ever expect to clear the place, they need each other. This event will give the server a serverance-ish feel for a bit...while still being hl2, which to me is cool as pink chickens. Rubbel everywhere, we scatter items around, dead bodies, crazy people, etc. Tell me what you guys think.

Thats a amazing event,I wish i had your imagination.My idea is not good but we could maybe use it.Say a Tornado/Earthquacke/Disaster happened all the power went out but when it happened something strange appeard,As a sorta Demon waking from hell to cause torture and can get any one at any moment?

Its a very good idea. But would take alot of planning. When we host our HL2RP, lets talk about it. Get things planned out for a specific date.

Someone steals the Dipatch radio or whatever and starts freaking the shit out of people with Resistance talk. I.E., X-Ray goes and steals the dispatch radio because she is STILL allowed into the Nexus because she is still technically a unit who is only constantly going on missions. And then she starts freaking the shit out of people.

Thats not really an event. Jared did that sometimes. We just got mad and got on our radios like "Who the fuck is using Dispatch?"

Jared: "Your worst nightmare..."

Yar. an event is something that will make you shit brix. things like stealing the dispatch will make you shit cocopebbles. and then you relise. its just x-ray fucking with you. so you eat those pebbles and shit them another day.

I was only talking minor shit. But if you want an event... Here it goes....

There is an allout panic. Someone or something has messed up the waivers and alarms and EVERYTHING. Blarings of sweep reports, parasite attacks, exogen attacks. Everything. This is a rare occurence and nobody knows what is going on, not even the Resistance. For all we know, this could be a new alien menace, an attack brought down by som vortigaunts in secret. Who knows?

This event may soon be a realality now that were in 45.
