It was back in the time of Jared. Jared had just confessed his feelings for Phantom and then he got drunk with Kathryn Glahd, but they DIDN'T DO A THING, but Phantom got all woman on him and wrecked him, then they ensued on a 2 week long goose-chase in which he came across an old rival, a supernatural being named Zero, who he reluctantly joined and embarked a journey through time into the land of Caldern, 30 years in the future, he then returned, and got in a fight, and stabbed Phantom with a katana, she fell over, and then they went to the windmill camp, where Phantom was totally apeshit over losing her memories, Jared then took Phantom on a hunt for the eeeeeexxxxxxtraaact in the outlands through a hive of antlions and 2-shotted guards with his revolver, he then found it and was about to take it, but Phantom is like "Nah" and then he put it in his pack so he could use it for later, and it saves his life when he gets horribly burned by Dark Energy due to an exploding AR2, soon-after getting captured, and dying like a hero. Phantom loved him, and he loved Phantom.


tl;dr: Phantom made a mistake, Jared tried to talk, he got fucked up, went to antlions, got fucked again, and then they <3.
