Explain.

The S just shows what their good at.
They are still the normal unit required to do the normal things they always did.
But if a DVL sees a unit with a specialty that matches a certain situation that just popped up...welll

Thank you for explaining, what I was getting at was : Wouldn't there be a quota for each specific unit?

No. Same old quota.
And we may get a new rank system, which will stay the same.
They aren't expected to do more or extra.
A helix trained in creature study can still perform augs.
But a unit trained in augs would be chosen over them for the job if their flagged up at the time.

So, how do you get this? You just go up to the SeC and say I'm good at this? Or do they have to see you do it or something like that..?

Its like getting your division at 03.

You just go up to the divisonal that trains you, or a CMD/APEX/Sextor,
and request to specialize in that subject.
They can either do it right there or wait a day or two asking if anyone else is gonna specialize in w/e your picking so they can train you in a group.

S1= S standing for speciality, the number specifying which one
examPles:
CORE
S1= Weapon Matenence
S2= Survallence
S3= Riot Training
S4= Crime Judgement
S5= Interrogation
etc.

HELIX
S1= Quick Field Treatment
S2= Augments
S3= Chemical Invention/Management
S4= Creature Study. (Exogen/Necrotics)
etc.

NOVA
S1= Turret Matenence
S2= Explosive Defusal
S3= Overwatch Management

Divisonals can train their yoonits. Or Cmd or APEX or Sector or whoevers there.
and so on and so forth.
It's been a somewhat looked at idea, but no one ever really told me what they thought of it.

More organized, instead of having like 4 05's and 06's come to the rescue when your in a fire fight instead you get a CORE-S3, CORE S4 And a HELIX-S1 for minor injures to attempt to out last da webul.
