Should we try this before we make a map switch?
Before we map switch...
Consider this.
All of a sudden, rebels, cca, and citizens are blended togather with almost twice the room they had before, with more store fronts, shops, and places to passive RP. All without switching maps yet. How? A simple idea. We lessen the slums. We open up another large chunk of the city for CCA to patrol. We barricade off another small section, and the rebels get their subways and warehouse. What good can come out of this?
CCA:
More places to patrol.
More encounters with rebels.
More action.
MUCH More involvement with citizens. They will depend on you!
GHOST sniper outposts. (Roof top towers)
Smaller outposts due to the distance away from the nexus(Player-run)
More oppurtinity to play overwatch.
Less time spent AFK on a checkpoint barrier. The new one will literally just be a blocked off tunnel wall.
Citizens:
More CETA Jobs.
More shops.
More apartments.
Upgraded CWU living areas.
More places to passive/walk around.
Possibly more encounters with rebels.
The ability to form small groups/gangs.
Able to escape aresst without dashing for a checkpoint. (Places to hide)
Not to mention a bigger player base. new people can explore the dark...spooky...slums...and relise the rebels don't want them, so they are free to do whatever.
MORE RP!!!!
Resistance:
Much much much more interaction with cca/citizens.
Less sweeping.
Less lolwebuls.
The ability to blend in with the crowd, and give a challenge.
Rooftops
Less circle jerking sessions with no action.
More of a paranoid/alert feel when playing a rebel.
Much more ground for cca to cover, making it possible to use plaza areas that were always heavily watched before. (Disguise rooms, hide doors as soda machenes, make fake ID'S/uniforms, etc. Feel realistic!)
Several people have supported this idea, and others support it with editing ideas. It's just an idea now, but you guys may enjoy the C18 map alot more if we take the simple step of opening the slums up.
TELL ME YOUR THOUGHTS! VOTE!
Any suggestions would be awesome, don't be afraid to citicize it. If we do this, we want it perfect.
If the idea is accepted and finalized, it will be done SLOWLY, giving all classes time to adjust and prepare. Each day OTA will take a little bit of territory. Then blades will patrol this territory, open it for citizens, until it eventually cools down for CCA to patrol.

I think we should just get a new problem so then we don't havce to worry about any of this. Slums is already small enough as is.

This is not a bad idea, actually.
Player-run outposts I'd like to see happen, definitely.
Also, I believe since the area the CCA will be having patrol is such a large area, I think the ratio for CCA should be buffed a bit
