Background:
James Morrow
James was born in a sub-urban city Alexandria, Virginia, in the USA. At an early age James was bright, able to comprehend and complete puzzles. In his early years of school he wasn’t bullied, there were no tragedies, James was a social butterfly. Even throughout his middle school years, James didn’t believe in the idea of “popularity” in schools as much as “size in a group of friends” with the term friends used loosely. In high school, however, James was deemed socially unacceptable for his awkward taste in well, everything. His favorite music genre was “Psychedelic rock” not because it wasn’t popular, but because it sounded nice. Favorite color “Dark red-violet” because tertiary colors were always nice. This trend of likes continues. He wasn’t bullied, or praised, just there.
In college James would try to major in Philosophy and minor in anything music. Before he could, however, the 7 hour war began in wiped out most of the city’s inhabitants.
James was exiting college campus when there was killing traffic. As it progressed the cars moved without haste. Eventually, people were exited their cars, curious. A loud explosion was heard. Citizens began running from their cars and James joined the large group running opposite the traffic was supposed to go. Luckily with his phone on hand, he was able to come in contact with his parents for a few minutes, during so James was explained what was happening, and that his father were going to retrieve the shotgun in his closet as defense, not long after there were sounds of screaming, gunshots, orders, and finally static. He wasn’t oblivious, he knew what this meant; his parents were dead. He made it to a hotel in which he hid underneath the reception desk.
He was found by the combine, and transferred to C08 to begin his new life as a citizen.

                He stood leaning against the wall recklessly, looking down at the tunnel entrance below him. It gained some attention from pedestrians, who then walked towards the fence and tried to communicate with James.
                “Are you some idiot? What are you doing up here? You’re going to die!” Spoke someone, who was hypocritically on top of the neighboring fence.
                “Who could blame him?” Said another; he on the safe side of the fence.
                James tried to ward them off, so he could be alone and think of the next few actions he should take, when a woman walked up to the fence and offered empathy. She asked James to follow her, and James was interested, and complied, side-stepping cautiously to a safe area, and climbing down the ledge. The woman preached that James was not what he thought he was, and upon her being requested somewhere over the radio, James learned Jannet’s name. After she walked off, a much older male approached James on Jannet’s request, for she was busy, and told James he is to be a courier to the black market. Being both unemployed, and having the hobby of “Contemplating existential crisis, Self-Loathing, and deeply pondering the ideas of suicide” or otherwise known as “none” James accepted, and the man tended to his other duties.
                A woman who seemed beautiful entered District 6, and stood in front of the somehow-fueled fire in the center of the setting. Perhaps to look for trouble (to report) or to relax James will not know. He approached her and explained
                “Quite beautiful isn’t it?”
                “What?” She said, confused.
                “The fire.”
                “Oh, yes.”
                They then contemplated the fire’s fuel, and conversed. After the conversation died down due to lack of topic, He said to Luna that he would walk around the city, and did so. Their paths crossed again eventually, in which James hugged Luna and offered to get to know each other, which she accepted. This time they spoke of what they were pre-war. Luna strangely and urgently left, saying she needed to go.
