This is it

Well, here we are. Bear with me here, I am staying home because I am sick. When I am sick my typing skill goes down to level -4. So, just keep that in mind.

Over the past week I have watched some of you bring TC back to life for a few short hours each day. Unfortunately we ended up getting struck by the same problem we tried to get rid of. People once again stopped playing. This is no ones fault but their own, remember that. For those of you that tried, you have my sincere gratitude. Showing dedication no one else could. I thank you for this.

Sadly, it was not enough to convince me that we can keep this going. I have made the decision to not pay for our next month. The server will be down sometime tomorrow. But the forums will remain for as long as the internet is up.

I had a lot of fun on HL2RP, but that time has passed. I'll see you all in what ever the "Next big thing" is, on Gmod.
Stay in contact too, you guys are the only friends I still talk too...

Y'know, this feels so much like it did when SOTA went down that it's the strangest combo of nostalgia mixed with unhappiness. Well, these things happen. Hopefully the group stays together even if the server falls, but things generally don't go that way in my experience. With that said, try and stick together. This is one of the better communities I've had the chance to work and play with. It would be a shame to lose it.

Well, if this is truly it for the greatest server devotion and experience I ever could have asked for, I will still remain on these forums because everybody in this community is my friend (at least most of them). Trying not to cry as I type this and think back on all the amazing fun I've had in this server, honestly the greatest fucking time I'll ever have in a community in my life, nothing, I am not even exaggerating, will be as grabbing as TC's lore, people, legacy, story-line etc. You all have given me something I'll never forget probably in my life. When I grow old, I'll tell my children or people I meet that I was once apart of this community with all of you. To think I was an inch away from not even becoming apart of it. Lets see, it all started back at the end of December 2012, me and Ryan (Callchaos) just wanted to try out some RP gmod servers and happened to find it. Instantly, I knew that this server was different from the others. To think back to that moment is pretty sad to say we're finally at the moment I have pondered on slow days in school. The day we are putting all of the fun away as we grow up. Every moment, every good, bad, scary, exciting, fun, OOC, IC, all of it, will be in my mind forever. As I sit here and think to myself about it, there may be politically "better" servers out there, but none of them will have you guys all there, like before when you were all there just 4-5 months back having a blast. Now I never joined in SOTA or DA but I can tell you one thing, I wish I would have joined back then. Gmod wasn't even really a common game for me, it was just some game to mess around in, maybe get involved with the average server here and there but nothing, will never be as powerful as this community. All of you here is what makes it. I don't blame any of you for leaving, fighting, breaking the community up, but I will say this, the ones who could have helped, should have. This server has lived for a long ass time. It made me reach almost 2000 hours on GMOD. My total playtime on the server was almost 2 fucking months! I thank all of you for your cooperation. And apologize for the trouble I may have caused through argument, but am glad I was there for some of you and thank you for having me. I was glad and proud to hold the server up while Diablo was on is trip. I will always be glad to have been an SA for the greatest RP community of all time.

Cerg: Man, a lot of people got in fights with you, but to tell you the truth, you are just young, and I was like you at one time. I will definitely get you into the aether lets plays and shit, I'll game with you too if you want. You are a good cyber friend mang.

General Bravo: At first, we were not really in touch, shadowing away from each other, even got in a few disagreements and one fight over the vort Shield, but I began to realize that you are actually pretty fucking awesome. Great admin, hilarious and probably one of the only people who know how to YTP I will meet over the internet for a bit. Get the joj done. We gotta work on SWRP and shit some more negus. Good role model and most importantly good leader. /me salutes.

Noobstrike: Second admin I met, probably the most fucking hilarious person I've met. Just amazing in all kinds of ways negus. I was afraid of you at first I remember, but yeah had all kinds of fun times with you captain bill gates hater. The russian scottish critikal combination. Made the coolest stories and shit man, I look up to you man.

Mahunik: First admin I ever met on TC, probably the most deep rp I've had with. Don't know if anybody knew, but Jen and Erica had a lesbian connection. Really detailed and deep rp between them (NOT ERP YOU PERVS). Erica is like my favourite rp character. I'll keep in touch with you man.

Slashraider: The most in touch I'd say person I have with on TC, Skyped with you a lot over the summer and such, played a lot of fun horror maps with you and ryan and shit, fun as hell. Definitely keeping in touch with you. I feel if I lived near you we'd most likely be friends.

Darkpossum: The negus that joined in C45, I remember all the fun rp we had there with our chars. Sort of the cracking point of TC sadly. Good guy you are.

Gremnkai: Quite mature for your age I have to admit. Had some swaggy ass times with you man. Can understand why you left though, losing a character and such can be a lot to some people which is fine. I was the final straw mixed with other things...

Masey: Skyped with you a bit too, for like an entire day once lol. Had the most detailed ass /me's and was very trust worthy. Dude just all around cool guy, but got into one argument type thing which I hope we can put behind us. Happy to have volunteered you as a respected user

Zaughi: Man, You had such a cool and unique char development, Eli was another one of my favourites in rp chars. You joined in C45 I'm pretty sure, but I didn't really know you much until like C8.

Chris: BARREL ATTACKER OF HOLLER. Lol I didn't really talk much to you to tell you the truth, but I did like how you rp'd. Good role model and good Admin, stayed serious a lot. Can't forget Chris.

Wowdah: Some of the stuff you said pissed me off sometimes, but not really in a bad way or anything, just like in a funny weird holler way lol. Good rper. Good deude, good negus, good fooken show mate.

Inept: Good deude as well, liked your deep char development, even though they didn't usually make it very long D: I'll continue to update you on my music production and thank you for your support cause it motivates me mang :)Call Pandora Jenny for me lol. Joe:Man, only guy on TC who truly has good taste in dubstep, had some swaggy as times with you and Ryan in C45. Had the interesting deep chars that everybody liked. Good at developing stories and legacy's and linking all your chars. All around awesome ass deude.


SilverDisc: Fucking amazing coder, amazing story developer for chars, I loved Stacey's story a lot. I hope Maelstrom goes far, and I most importantly wish you luck in you career man! Good guy. I'll check your stream out often.

Darion: Amazing times with you man, I'm sorry I forgot you man, really sorry, glad to have been there for you when you were having tuff times. I'll be here to play dee gaems with u. Anyways yeah. Suz.

Atlas: New to me and to TC, but can honestly say, if you joined earlier, probably would have made better friends cause you just have that good moral standard.

If I missed anybody else important I'll add em in but I pledge my loyalty to this community, I thank all of you for giving me this fucking amazing experience.

I must say, it's been a long time. Felt shorter then it really did but each time I came on this server I had fun. Ive seen people come, people go, and the dedicated stay. There were times that I would just need a break but I always saw myself coming back for more. It was also awesome being able to help pick out new admins, and new rules to add to this community. Even when I wasn't everyone's favorite I still felt like I fit in with the other staff and players. Needless to say, I had a great year here and I wish we could've lasted longer, but everything unfortunately has a end..

I would like to thank Diablo for giving me a chance as a Super admin here. Also I would like to thank all the staff for working together and managing this server well. I think we should all stay together as a community and meet up time to time, even if it's not on garrysmod.

All I have to say is Who acres if the ever is down?
This doesn't mean we can't be a community that just play games together, I am disappointed too that the server is down, It's just that it he server isn't the community, the players are. As long as the players are active TC will be an active community.
We can play games together, Skype and such.
All I am saying is that just because the server is. Removed doesn't mean the community has to die.

Just please stay with TC I am not saying goodbye to you guys, I am welcoming a new beginning....

I don't have much time to write out a long goodbye to everyone because these past weeks have been really busy and I have an insane work load. But I don't feel as there is a need for a goodbye because I think we will all keep playing with each other in other games / game-modes and we will ALWAYS be apart of a community. And I look forward

Thanks.. To all of you guys. TC has been one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had and I absolutely loved it. I have so many good memories to TC.. And I wish we could just go back in time and go on.

So.. Thanks guys. You all made TC amazing. You are what made the server great. And that's exactly why the server is dying now.. Because people have left. Because we miss those certain people. Well.. I'll hope we'll all still chat up on Steam every often. I've just started college and I'm incredibly busy, but I'll never forget TC.

I also want to have said something. TC has always been my favorite RP server ever. Maelstrom was never created to take TC's place. It was to exist alongside TC, with different people and different RP experiences. And it did. We never "stole TC's members". So I hope nobody will blame me. I love TC, and I always will. I wish it was still around.

In the future.. Who knows. Let's make sure this is not the end. There's so many more stories to be told. Maybe we just need a break.

General Bravo: Well, I can't say we really liked each other, or it never seemed like we did, just kind of knew each other or atleast acknowledged it. Noobstrike: Hmm... I can't really say we we're good friends until the final days of TC when everyone started to play together for a short while. HollerHavoc: Aha! One of my favorite dudes on the server... although we rarely talked besides dubstep... and how did you know I made deep characters? Mahunik: This kid... man you we're one of my favorite admins back in SoTA but we became co-workers I guess you could say, and we became really good friends, and still are, I hope it stays this way too. I know we hadn't been real great friends during the Era when I was a Super Admin but I will admit, you had some damn good philosophies whenever you ranted at me as I was playing on the server about certain things. Super America: Man... I don't know why your steam name says your depressed but... guess I have no place to ask why. But all I know is this, stay safe, don't kill yourself because I have had to talk to a couple of people out of doing that... you know who you people are...  Stay in touch, although I talked to you a couple days ago... just keep on sending me messages and I will trying and return a message.

Darion: I nearly forgot about you... but I didn't. I thought you to be one of the greatest roleplayers I had met during my time on the server until everyone started spamming the area with /it's of Stinger pollinating your flower... which I find rather fucked up. Anyways, your characters we're deep and your stories we're immaculate, in other words... outstanding. Very well done. Although I roleplayed with you very few times but I have heard things. A lot of things actually. But all-in-all, 10/10 one of the best roleplayers I have seen out there. Stay safe.

Corestealer: Oh... I forgot about you. Sorry. But someone reminded me... and I... sadly to say, hardly roleplayed with you. So that means I barely know you... although we did play on my Synergy server that one time, and yea I too agree that its hard to let go of the server but hey, the community will stick around. Silverdisc: Well. What to put here as well. I talked to you damn near everyday but I will add this: You we're one of the FINEST! Yes... FINEST! Honestly... I am terribly sorry for the servers stability although its dead now as I type this... but I feel as if I was the cause for the server's downfall. I know some of you may think I am just putting the internal locus of control on myself... but I am really not. But I seriously think it was because of me, after I quit being an admin the server just... started to dwindle and slowly fall to an icy platform... which in other words is a burst of population keeping the server intact... then it did it again. And now... this. But all-in-all... I want to thank everyone that thought of my roleplay as deep and well-put together and also as a Super Admin, although I know some of you out there hated my admining skills, I will admit I wasn't good at it. But... thanks, again. I will never ever forget this community and the community's before this one, thanks to DIABLO258 for bringing me a long in his adventure in this chain of servers and our roleplay together... although there was barely any of that because we like to do our own things. I'm going to miss this server so much, it took my Gmod hours from 10 to almost 1000 hours give or take a few. Back when I joined the DA server after getting annoyed at another servers character creation screen, I joined the Dead Anarchy one and created Steve Johnson, within the first day me and a few users managed to get into D6 after the CCA unit logged off, that unit was Diablo, then just a 04; there was 4 of us civis and their were two rebels, one being Jared Smeester (I believe that was his name) and some female. So yeah first day role playing and I lolran into the slums, on a character that would later be developed into a loyalist, weird huh.

We are still here, living on, we are still in each others friends lists, we can always go onto a sandbox server and chill there or something.
