Why not take the known and named rebels (Example=sheckly from EP2)

And give them some form of treatment on the server, even NPCs need backstory/gameplay

And what about the like, 4 scientists that escaped with barney, are they even canon here?

The 4 scientists who escaped with Barney are debatable as to whether or not they're canon, but since we never see them again, they might not have survived the war. As for playing named chars, eh, seems somewhat doable, but we'd need to figure out quite a few things first before we were to do that.

Actually, I have seen on some servers that they have Union scientists. Basically they are Helix, but they only do the science stuff, and they don't go into battle. The thing about the Union scientists is that they would have more science training than Helix, and they would do more top secret stuff that would only be shared with the administrator or the sector, and the Union. Having Union scientists on our server would be cool, because they can do experiments on parasitics and exogens that Helix wouldn't know how to do. They would also invent things, like NOVA would. They would basically be Helix and NOVA combined but with no combat training.

Thats not what i meant, i meant the scientists from the end of blue shift

Maybe make them lambda scientists cause it looks like ALL of surviving black mesa went resistance
