Lately since the server has been down I searched for some good possible maps for the server. One that stuck out the most was City_17. We have tried almost all Hl2rp maps, but not this one. This map includes everything we could possibly need. Since we have a large CCA they have a large organized and easy to learn capitol and nexus. Dark cells and several torture and judgement rooms. The plaza and trainstation are also large along with a line of storefronts and citizen housement areas right near the nexus. Then there is a feature I like most. Instead of having a easy to find resistance hideout, this map has a complicated and hard to get to base. First you must find a hidden man hole which leads you to a dead end with a hidden vent that opens. Once opening the vent you must climb and fit through several pipe systems and tight areas. You then drop into deep water and swim to another dark door. Inside are bullet holes, blood, barricades and a corpse which can add a whole fear rp effect. Also it is almost impossible to venture through without a flashlight. Once through the entrance you come to a big bunker with blast doors and a security room similar to Eli's bunker in HL2 before ravenholm. Then inside a large room where resistance can palce bunks lockers and storage also a perfect place to hide. The rest of the map are back allys and refugee apartments giving the map more of a citizen rp but enough hiding places for runaways and resistance, unlike City18. I recommend you test the map out yourselves and vote.

Actualy. We might not need a poll.

I have two servers, and Severance Legacy is the last Schema going to be made, which is in a LOOONG time.

If I can get both servers running HL2RP, both have different maps, we could use the train station as a city transfer thing for citizens. with mySQL, I can transfer characters from one server to the next and connect it to your Steam ID. Meaning that characters should be able to server hop.

If you want... I could get to work on this once our server is up.

That would be awesome, except at times I think one server would make the other empty depending where population goes.

I don't think that is a very good idea. The people would be spread thin among it when we should just really be focusing on just one server right now.

The map would be very nice. But its very unfortunate for me since i have a bad PC. I've tried this map and it made me lag a load. Its just too big.

C18 sucks, it just sucks. We have had fun on it but there's not enough to do. With all of this CETA building and job creation to add rp aside from passive to draw people in, we don't have space to do any of that on C18. Theres the foto shop, the bar, and that one other shop. Aside from that the rp is to spread out or just inaccessible. We need an actual city like setting. I haven't seen C17 but its prob better than C18.

I've began to look up tutorials on map creation and will start to build a tailored HL2 RP map for TC's needs in my free time, but until then we need to get out of C18.

Also I am going to begin coding in objects for CETA specific RP and just general addons as soon as we get back rolling.

Like always we will get through these bumps in the road and prosper.

Noob, severance is going to be the last Schema to be made. It took this long to design HL2RP. Soooo. Severance wont be out for a good long while

It seems good. I will agree that many a time on virtually every faction, I've found myself feeling a little too constrained in C18, the exceptions being OTA and Vort, cause those 2 usually operate in more constrained areas anyway.
